As a straightforward recessed downlight, DL023 is meant to provide general / ambient lighting — not decorative or statement lighting. It’s practical and likely unobtrusive.

The satin chrome finish gives a modern / neutral metallic look — good for contemporary or minimalist interiors.

The “clear splash glass” offers a clean light output (without a fully exposed bulb) which tends to give slightly diffused — but still fairly direct — downwards illumination.

Because the cut-out is relatively small (64 mm) and outer ring compact (86 mm), it is suitable for typical ceiling cavities and for use in multiples (e.g. a row of downlights) for even ceiling lighting
